Derby Book Festival

Taking place over three days this month is the annual Derby Book Festival. From the 4th to the 6th of November, you can attend twelve different events across several different venues, including Quad, Derby Theatre, Derby Museums, and D├ęda. Several guests will be making an appearance at the festival, including former BBC Breakfast host, Dan Walker. Tickets for events start at £10, or you can get a complete Festival Pass for £70.

You can find more out information on their website here.

Chatsworth Christmas Market

Over 100 market stalls selling all manner of Christmas gifts and decorations will be open at Chatsworth between the 5th and the 23rd of November.

As well as live music, there'll also be plenty of food and drink on offer:

"Take a break from shopping and enjoy a mulled wine or a German beer at one of our outdoor bars, or sample some delicious food, with gourmet burgers and sausages, hot pork rolls, pancakes, churros and more."

Sounds delicious, doesn't it?

Entry costs £15 per car before 3pm or £10 per car after 3pm. You can find out more on the Chatsworth House website here.

Derby Christmas Lights Switch On

The event is supported by Smooth Radio and will be BSL interpreted too!
